Tenax Cera Pasta Paste Wax – 1 Quart, Black
Tenax Cera Pasta in black is a solvent-free concentrated paste wax supplied in a 1 Quart container that restores lost polish and increases gloss, pigmented for use on dark and black stone.
Key Features
- Black version of Cera Pasta; the clear version is the same wax without the pigment.
- Solvent-free solid wax that restores lost polish and increases gloss, penetrating the surface rather than only coating it.
- Tenax publishes coverage of 215 to 323 sq. ft.
- Shelf life of 2 years or more.
- Cera Pasta is the current Tenax name; Tewax and Wax Paste are retired names for the same product.
- Single 1 Quart container.
Who Is This For?
Restoration techs and monument and memorial workers maintaining black granite, dark marble and terrazzo, where a clear wax lifts the gloss but does nothing for the greyed, worn look of the arrises and the tired areas. Also fabricators finishing dark material that has been honed or repaired.
What This Is Not For
The pigment is the point of this version, so it is the wrong can for white marble, light granite or a pale agglomerate, where the Tenax Cera Pasta Paste Wax in clear is the right choice. Neither version replaces an impregnating sealer: for stain protection on natural stone, an impregnator such as the Tenax Hydrex Natural Effect Sealer is the product that blocks water and oil.
