The outer ring is a copper-resin hybrid bond and the inner ring is a resin and diamond matrix; the manufacturer states the hybrid bond cuts faster and lasts longer than a traditional resin pad and refines the surface to eliminate swirl marks.
This is a coarse grit for shaping and removing the 30 grit scratch pattern.
