The SIERRA V2 Resin-Filled Diamond Cup Wheel is a 4 in. fine-grit diamond cup wheel with a 5/8 in.-11 thread for grinding granite, marble, quartz, quartzite and natural stone on a hand grinder, wet or dry.
Fine is the last of the three V2 grades and is not there to remove material. Its job is to take out the scratch pattern the coarser wheels leave, so the first polishing pad starts on an even surface. Resin fills the gaps between the diamond segments, so the wheel runs on a near-continuous face instead of open segments, which keeps it from bouncing, chattering and chipping. V2 adds a new, improved diamond segment pattern over the original SIERRA cup wheel.
