The Superior Stone Products Gold Evolution in EV-5 knife grade is a 5 gallon pail of uncolored base adhesive that Superior's Gold Evolution Colored Hardener both tints and activates at the point of use.
Key Features
- 5 gallon pail of the EV-5 medium knife grade, item 200-30050-20.
- Set time 3 to 7 minutes.
- One base plus twenty published Colored Hardener colors, so a shop stocks bulk adhesive and matches color at the bench.
- Gold Evolution is published in three viscosities: EV-1 flowing, EV-5 knife grade, EV-9 thick knife grade.
- Will-call pickup only - this pail does not ship.
Who Is This For?
Production shops that run Gold Evolution as their standard shop adhesive and draw from bulk, coloring each batch to the slab in front of them. Pail volume only pays where the base is turned over steadily.
What This Is Not For
Bulk base is the wrong buy for a shop doing occasional color-matched seams; the Superior Stone Products Gold Evolution - Quart, EV-5, Knife Grade is the same grade in a bench size. If the material has to be delivered rather than collected, the Superior Stone Products Gold Evolution - Big Box, EV-5, Knife Grade holds the same five gallons in a shippable bag-in-box. The base also does not cure on its own - Colored Hardener is a separate purchase.
