Diamax Cyclone ES White 7 Step Wet Polishing Pad – 4 in., 30 Grit
The Diamax Cyclone ES White 7 Step Wet Polishing Pad is a 4 in. white-resin diamond polishing pad in 30 grit, the first and most aggressive step of Diamax's seven-step wet system for engineered stone and granite.
Diamax uses a light-colored resin so the pad does not bleed color into white or light quartz, and a small tread pattern for flexibility on edges. At 30 grit this step removes saw and grinding marks and shapes an edge before the 60 grit pad takes over.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this pad part of a 3-step or 7-step system?
The 7-step. Diamax also sells a Cyclone ES White 3 Step set at 4 in.; the 3-step pads use different part numbers (ESWN400 series) and are not interchangeable positions.
Which step comes next?
60 grit (ESWP40060), then 150, 400, 800, 1500 and 3000.
What is the maximum RPM?
Diamax publishes 4,000 RPM maximum for every grit in the line.
Can it run dry?
No. Diamax lists the Cyclone ES White system as wet only.
What materials is it for?
Diamax lists engineered stone and granite; the light resin is the reason it is the usual choice for white quartz.
