The Diamax Cyclone Dry/Wet Side Protection Core Bit is a 1 in. core bit with diamond side protection for drilling granite and quartz where the barrel has to release the core cleanly.
This is the upgrade from the plain T-segment bit: diamond side protection runs on the outside of the barrel and on the inside shaft, so the bit drills easier and the core drops out instead of jamming.
