The RTC Block MF Pro Sponge is a two-sided microfiber block sponge for final grout cleanup and polishing on tile.
The microfiber face lifts fine grout residue and haze rather than pushing water back into the joint, and the block shape holds square edges that follow a grout line and reach into corners instead of rounding them off. It is the last-pass sponge, used after the bulk of the grout has already been washed off.

Who Is This For?
Tile setters doing the final haze pass on cement-grouted tile, where a coarse hydro sponge would pull grout back out of the joint. Anyone grouting with epoxy needs a different sponge.

Can I use this sponge with epoxy grout?
No — RTC does not recommend this microfiber sponge for epoxy grouts. Epoxy cleanup needs a sponge built for it, such as the A. Bottini XL Epoxy Grout Sponge.
Where does it fit in the grouting sequence?
It is a finishing sponge: the bulk of the grout is washed off first with a conventional grout sponge, then the microfiber block takes the residue and haze off the tile face.
Why microfiber rather than a standard grout sponge?
Microfiber holds fine residue in the pile instead of smearing it across the tile, which is what makes it a polishing pass rather than a washing one.
What are the square edges for?
They let the sponge run along a grout line and into an inside corner without rounding the joint profile, which a soft radiused sponge tends to do.
