APEXX MONSTER Calibrating Wheel – 100 x 50 x 30 mm, Soft Bond
APEXX MONSTER Calibrating Wheel – 100 x 50 x 30 mm, Soft Bond
The APEXX MONSTER Calibrating Wheel is a 100 x 50 x 30 mm CNC wheel used to bring slab to thickness, with a soft bond and segments Ocean Diamond describes as four times larger. Ocean Diamond specifies wet use only.
This is the soft-bond MONSTER. For quartzite, Ocean Diamond builds the APEXX BLUE MONSTER in an extra-soft bond under a separate item number, which Obsidian Industrial does not currently stock. Note that blue on the MONSTER wheels is a line qualifier and has nothing to do with the blue on the APEXX incremental cutting tips or the APEXX CNC finger bits.

Frequently Asked Questions
What size is the wheel?
The calibrating wheel is 100 x 50 x 30 mm.
What bond is it?
A soft bond. Ocean Diamond's price list names this item with a soft bond and reserves the extra-soft bond for the separately numbered BLUE MONSTER, which it publishes for quartzite.
Is this the GOLD MONSTER?
Ocean Diamond's website heading reads APEXX GOLD MONSTER for this line, but its current price list names this item number with no color at all, simply as a MONSTER calibrating wheel with a soft bond. The price list is the more current document, so no color is carried here.
Which materials is it for?
Ocean Diamond lists engineered stone, granite and quartzite. A distributor listing adds marble; no manufacturer source does, so marble is not claimed here.
Does it need water?
Yes. Ocean Diamond specifies wet use only.
