Who Is This For
A high-production shop cutting memorial lettering, house numbers, logos or reference marks on the machine rather than sandblasting them. PCD holds its point through unattended cycles, so the last letter of a long run matches the first.
It is not a cutting or profiling tool and will not survive being fed like one. It engraves a shallow V; depth comes from multiple passes, not from a heavier one.
It needs an adapter. The bit has a 0.39 in. (10 mm) shank and CNC spindles take 1/2 in. Gas, so a collet or grub-screw adapter sits between them.
