Superior Stone Products Poly-Epoxy Adhesive – Quart, Knife Grade
The Superior Stone Products Poly-Epoxy Stone Adhesive is a quart of knife grade, water-clear stone adhesive that blends polyester and vinyl ester resin technology into a single non-sagging paste for seaming, laminating and rodding natural and engineered stone.
It is a paste, so it stays where it is knifed and suits miters, vertical seams and laminated edges. Where the adhesive has to run into a rod channel or a hairline crack, use the flowing grade instead: the Superior Stone Products Water-Clear Polyester Stone Adhesive – Quart, Flowing.

Frequently Asked Questions
What hardener does it take?
A BPO (benzoyl peroxide) paste hardener, the same type used with Superior's polyester adhesives. Superior sells it as BPO Hardener Paste and as Gold Evolution Colored Hardener.
Is this a true epoxy?
No. Poly-Epoxy is Superior's name for a polyester and vinyl ester hybrid. It is catalyzed with a paste hardener like a polyester, not mixed 1:1 like Superior's E-1000 and E-1010 epoxies.
Knife grade or flowing?
Knife grade. This quart is the non-sagging paste. Superior's flowing water-clear polyester is the pour grade for rod channels and cracks.
What color does it cure?
Water-clear translucent. It accepts Superior coloring paste when a tint is needed.
