Key Features
- 5 gallon pail - Superior's own published container for Pearl, matching the -20 suffix on this item.
- 100% vinyl ester chemistry, cured with white paste hardener (BPO) at 1% to 3% by weight.
- EHC Knife Grade: Superior's thicker paste with less shear.
- Tintable with Superior Coloring Paste for color matching out of the same pail.
- Will-call pickup only; this item does not ship.
Who Is This For?
Production shops running Pearl as their standard vinyl ester adhesive and drawing from a pail across several benches. Because it is a pickup item, it suits shops that can collect locally and want the lowest cost per quart of adhesive.
What This Is Not For
Five gallons of a stiff knife grade is the wrong purchase for occasional work - the quart and gallon of the same EHC Knife Grade Pearl exist for that. The EHC grade is also not the one to buy if the adhesive needs to flow, where Superior's V-MAX SV-1 is the pourable grade, and Pearl in any grade is not a setting adhesive for bonding stone or tile to plywood, backer board, concrete or masonry - that is the Superior Stone Products E-1500-S Tile & Stone Setting Epoxy.
