The Empire True Blue Box Level E75.96 is a 96 in. (8 ft.) non-magnetic aluminum box-beam level with three acrylic block vials, accurate to 0.0005 in. per inch in every working position.

Eight feet is the length that spans a full countertop run or an island, checks a wall of cabinets before templating, and lays a straight line for a tile floor or shower curb. It is the plain non-magnetic model; Empire's magnetic e75 levels are a separate part number, and for short work in a sink cutout or a 12 in. reveal use the Empire True Blue Combination Square also stocked here.

Key Features

  • 96 in. (8 ft.) length, all-metal aluminum box-beam frame with precision-milled top and bottom edges
  • Three high-contrast e-BAND acrylic block vials: one level, two plumb; reinforced vial locking system
  • Accuracy 0.0005 in. per inch (0.029 degrees) in all working positions, on both working edges
  • 300-degree viewing window on the center vial
  • Tool-free removable, shock-absorbing end caps that double as scribing ends
  • Surface grippers on the working edges to stop sliding on flat or angled surfaces; two reinforced hand holds
  • Non-magnetic; limited lifetime warranty on frame and vials; UPC 045242366835

What This Level Is Not For

Not for holding itself to steel studs, door frames or metal fabrication tables: Empire's magnetic True Blue levels carry rare-earth magnets and a different part number. Too long for inside a cabinet, a vanity or a vehicle cab; keep a 24 in. or 48 in. level for those. Ships as an over-length parcel.

Who Is This For?

Countertop installers checking long runs, islands and cabinet tops before templating and setting, and tile installers striking level lines and screeding across a whole room in one pass.

Frequently Asked Questions

How accurate is it?

Empire rates the e75 series at 0.0005 in. per inch in all working positions, about 0.029 degrees, on both working edges.

Is it magnetic?

No. The E75.96 is the non-magnetic model. Empire sells magnetic e75 levels under different part numbers.

How many vials does it have?

Three: a center level vial with a 300-degree viewing window and two plumb vials, all high-contrast e-BAND acrylic block vials.

Can the end caps be removed?

Yes. The shock-absorbing end caps pull off without tools so you can scribe or read a line off the bare frame end, and they push back on.

How does an 8 ft. level ship?

As an over-length parcel. Freight and delivery time can differ from the rest of an order; local pickup in Sacramento is available.
