Vincent Electroplated CNC Seam Wheel – 25 mm Diameter, 1/2 Gas Fitting, Position 1
The Vincent CNC electroplated seaming wheel is a 0.98 in. (25 mm) wheel for dressing the mating faces of a seam so two slabs close without a gap.
Diameter: 0.98 in. (25 mm) · Diamond length: 1.97 in. (50 mm) · Grit: D602 · Position: 1 · Fitting: 1/2 in. Gas
Vincent's seaming-wheel table publishes diameter, diamond length and grit only — no spindle speed or feed rate column — so none is printed here.
Key Features
- Electroplated D602: a single exposed diamond layer that cuts fast and cold, which is what you want on a face that has to stay flat.
- Position 1 of a two-step sequence — the coarse wheel trues the face, the finer wheel takes out its scratch pattern so the seam closes tight.
- 1.97 in. (50 mm) diamond length on a 0.98 in. (25 mm) wheel.
- 1/2 in. Gas fitting.
Who Is This For
A high-production shop seaming on the CNC instead of by hand, where the joint has to be invisible and repeatable across a run. Get the face flat on the machine and there is no hand blending at the joint afterwards, because there is nothing left to blend.
It is not a profiling or polishing tool. It dresses a face; it does not shape an edge and it does not put gloss on one.
Electroplated wheels are consumable by design — the diamond is one layer deep. When it stops cutting it is finished, not glazed, and no amount of dressing brings it back.
Frequently Asked Questions
What speed should I run it at?
Vincent's table for the seaming wheels publishes grit and dimensions only, with no speed column. We have not invented one.
What is position 1 versus position 2?
Position 1 is the coarser wheel that trues the face; position 2 is finer and removes the scratch pattern position 1 leaves.
What does it fit?
A 1/2 in. Gas tool holder.
