The Vincent CNC finger bit is a 0.63 in. (16 mm) CNC shaft milling cutter — a finger bit for cutting sink and cooktop openings and inside radii on marble.

Spindle speed: 5,500–6,000 RPM
Feed rate: 10–16 in./min (250–400 mm/min)

Diameter: 0.63 in. (16 mm) · Diamond length: 1.77 in. (45 mm) · Fitting: 1/2 in. Gas · Grit: D602

Key Features

  • Vincent publishes 5,500–6,000 RPM at 10–16 in./min (250–400 mm/min) for this bit on marble.
  • Electroplated D602 build — a single exposed diamond layer that cuts fast and cold on soft stone, which is why Vincent lists it for marble rather than for granite.
  • 1/2 in. Gas fitting, so it runs in the same holders as the rest of the Vincent 1/2 in. Gas range.

Who Is This For

A fabricator cutting openings on a CNC in a high-production shop, where the bit runs in unattended cycles and a wrong feed rate is not noticed until the segment is gone.

It is not a profiling tool and not a polisher — it opens and shapes, and leaves a ground surface. The edge of the opening is finished afterwards with the profile set or by hand.

Not for granite or engineered stone. An electroplated bit is a single exposed diamond layer sized for soft, calcareous stone, and on granite it strips rather than cuts. Use the sintered Vincent Yellow or Blue finger bit instead — those are the granite and engineered-stone grades.

Frequently Asked Questions

What speed and feed does Vincent publish for this bit?
5,500–6,000 RPM at 10–16 in./min (250–400 mm/min).

What does it fit?
A 1/2 in. Gas tool holder.

Is it a drill?
No. It is a side-cutting milling tool. Plunge it and you load the end face, which is not where the diamond is meant to work; drop in with a ramp or start from a cored hole.
