The Alpha Ceramica Resin Wet Polishing Disc is a 5 in. hook-and-loop wet polishing disc in 300 grit, designed by Alpha for wet granite hand polishing. Alpha builds the line in 150, 300, 500, 1000, 2000 and 3000 grit and states that the sequence is formulated to give the best possible finish. Alpha rates the disc to 4,000 max RPM.
It is a wet disc — running it dry burns the resin. It is also a hand-polishing disc for edges and curves rather than a flat-surface pad; Alpha specifically points at tight curved areas such as the inside of an undermount sink cut-out.
