The WEHA Trilogy 3 Step Diamond Polishing Pad is a 4 in. wet pad and is step 3 of Weha's three-step Trilogy system for dark quartz and dark engineered stone. Weha gives an ideal working speed of 4,500-5,500 RPM. Step 3 is the finishing pad of the set and carries the gloss.

Trilogy is a separate Weha line from Trio and from the 3 Step Hybrid pads, and it exists for one reason: dark engineered stone. Weha states the pad will not bleed on light materials, so it will not discolor a light top, but the bond and the sequence are built and sold for dark surfaces. The full 4 in. set — steps 1, 2 and 3 — is stocked here.

Who Is This For?

Fabricators and repair techs finishing dark quartz and dark engineered stone tops, where a general pad leaves a hazy or grey cast. If your work is light-colored quartz and light engineered stone, or a mix across the shop, the WEHA 3 Step Hybrid set is the general three-step wet system and the WEHA Trio pad is the flexible option for sink bowls and curved profiles.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Trilogy pad for?

The WEHA Trilogy 3 Step pads are a three-step wet polishing system for dark quartz and dark engineered stone surfaces.

What speed should it run at?

Weha gives an ideal working speed of 4,500-5,500 RPM for the Trilogy pads, used wet.

Is Trilogy the same as the Trio or 3 Step Hybrid pads?

No. Weha sells Trilogy, Trio and 3 Step Hybrid as three separate lines. Trilogy is the dark engineered stone line; the other two are general wet polishing lines.

Will it stain a light-colored top?

No. Weha states the Trilogy pad will not bleed on light materials. It is still built and sold for dark surfaces, so a general line is the better choice for light work.

Can it be run dry?

Run it wet. Weha does not recommend dry use on engineered stone, which is the material this line is sold for.
