Diamax Cyclone Ultra Incremental Bit – 20 mm Diameter, M12 Reverse Thread

The Diamax Cyclone Ultra Incremental Bit is a 20 mm diameter CNC incremental cutting bit with 20 mm of usable length, a medium bond and an M12 reverse thread, rated to 4,200 max RPM and run wet. It is a complete bit, not a replaceable tip.

The reverse thread is the whole point of this part number. Diamax builds the same 20 mm bit in a standard M12 thread under a different part number, and the two are not interchangeable — fitting a standard-thread bit to a reverse-thread spindle, or the reverse, wrecks the tool and can damage the holder. Check the spindle thread before ordering.

Key Features

  • 20 mm diameter, 20 mm usable length
  • M12 reverse thread — not the standard M12 thread version
  • Medium bond
  • 4,200 max RPM
  • Wet use only
  • A complete incremental bit, not a replacement tip
  • For Dekton, porcelain and ultra-compact surfaces

What's Included

  • 1 incremental bit

Who Is This For?

CNC shops cutting and shaping Dekton, porcelain and other ultra-compact surfaces on a machine with an M12 reverse-thread incremental holder. Shops running a standard-thread M12 holder need the standard-thread version of this bit, not this one.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the reverse thread mean on this bit?

The bit screws onto an M12 reverse-thread spindle, which turns the opposite way to a standard thread. A reverse-thread bit will not fit a standard M12 holder, and forcing the mismatch damages both the bit and the holder.

Is this a bit or a replacement tip?

It is a complete incremental bit. Diamax lists replaceable tips and mandrels as separate part numbers in the same family.

What is the maximum speed?

4,200 RPM, run wet. Diamax specifies wet use only for this bit.

Which materials is the Cyclone Ultra line for?

Dekton, porcelain and other ultra-compact surfaces. That is what the Ultra line is built to cut.

Is there a smaller version of this bit?

Yes — the Diamax Cyclone Ultra Incremental Bit in 8 mm with 15 mm usable length and a reversed thread covers tighter internal radii.
