The APEXX Vacuum Brazed Diamond Cone is a 2 in. 60-degree brazed diamond cone with a 5/8 in.-11 thread, used to chamfer and smooth existing holes from 3/16 in. to 1-3/4 in. Ocean Diamond specifies dry or wet use.
Ocean Diamond states explicitly that this product cannot be used to drill holes. It chamfers and smooths a hole that is already there. To drill the hole in the first place, use a core bit — the ELEMENT or ELEMENT-X bits for engineered stone, granite and quartzite, the APEXX Vacuum Brazed Marble & Porcelain Core Bit for marble and porcelain, or the APEXX Ultra-Compact & Dekton Thin-Wall Core Bit for porcelain and ultra-compact.
