WEHA Countertop Protective Film is a clear, caution-marked self-adhesive film applied over a finished countertop to protect it from the trades that follow the stone installer. It is supplied on a 25.5 in. x 600 ft. roll.

Caution marked means the film carries a pre-printed red bilingual warning across its face: "CAUTION: DO NOT STEP, STAND, OR PLACE OBJECTS ON THIS SURFACE" and "Precaucion: NO SUBIRSE NI COLOQUE OBJETOS SOBRE ESTA SUPERFICIE". That printed warning is the reason this SKU exists — it tells a plumber or a cabinet installer what the film alone does not. Weha builds it in four layers with the printing ink two layers in, separated by a non-bleeding transparent polyethylene film, and uses a non-bleeding clear water-based acrylic adhesive that stays on the film when it is pulled.

The clear version lets the fabricated top stay visible under the film, so the customer and the general contractor can see the finished surface. Weha also makes the caution-marked film in blue, where hiding the top matters more than showing it, so the color is a real choice rather than a cosmetic one.

Who Is This For?

Fabricators and installers who hand a finished top over to a job site where other trades are still working. If you only need a physical barrier and not a printed warning, a plain film such as the Xpeed Blue Protective Film, 24 in. x 600 ft. (XPE S09PF246B) covers the same job without the caution print.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does 'caution marked' mean on this film?

The film is pre-printed in red with a bilingual warning reading 'CAUTION: DO NOT STEP, STAND, OR PLACE OBJECTS ON THIS SURFACE' in English and 'Precaucion: NO SUBIRSE NI COLOQUE OBJETOS SOBRE ESTA SUPERFICIE' in Spanish.

Will the adhesive leave residue on the stone?

Weha specifies a non-bleeding clear water-based acrylic adhesive that stays on the film, so the film is designed to lift off without leaving adhesive on the surface.

What is the difference between the clear and the blue film?

Both carry the same printed caution warning. Clear leaves the finished countertop visible under the film; blue conceals it. Weha makes both.

How wide is the roll?

The roll is 25.5 in. wide and 600 ft. long, which covers a standard countertop run in a single width.

Why is the warning printed rather than applied as a label?

The printing is built into the film two layers in, separated by a transparent polyethylene layer, so it cannot be scuffed off by traffic on the job site.
