The WEHA Trio 3 Step Wet Diamond Polishing Pad is the step 1 pad of Weha's Trio three-step wet system, a 3 mm flexible 4 in. pad rated to a maximum of 4,500 RPM. Its flexibility and rounded edges are meant for non-flat work — sink bowls and curved profiles such as bullnose, ogee and half bullnose.
Trio, 3 Step Hybrid and Trilogy are three separate Weha lines, not one line under three names. The word "hybrid" appears in Trio's marketing because Trio uses a flexible white hybrid resin bond — that is a description of the bond, not a line name. The 3 Step Hybrid line is a different block of pads sold in 3 in., 4 in. and 5 in., and Trilogy is Weha's dark engineered stone line.
Only step 1 of the Trio system is stocked here. Steps 2 and 3 (Weha MPN 13342 and 13343) are not carried, so this pad on its own will not take a surface or an edge through to a finished polish.
