The 1-3/8" MANTIS Dry Diamond Core Bit is engineered for fast, efficient coring through granite, quartzite, and engineered stone. Designed for dry use, this core bit features side ventilation ports that help dissipate heat during drilling, allowing the bit to stay cooler and maintain consistent performance. Diamond side protection along the barrel ensures continuous cutting efficiency throughout the entire drilling process.
MANTIS dry core bits are built to meet the demands of professional stone fabrication. Manufactured in South Korea, the MANTIS Dry Core Bit from Obsidian Industrial is produced using premium-grade diamonds for superior cutting performance. Diamonds are strategically placed on both the interior and exterior of the barrel to reduce friction, resulting in lower operating temperatures and smoother drilling with less drag.
This heat reduction allows the bit to run at higher RPMs without compromising tool life. The MANTIS Dry Core Bit is ideal for granite, quartzite, and engineered stone and is compatible with a variety of tools, including drills and hand grinders. Featuring a standard 5/8"-11 female thread, along with available adapters and extensions, this core bit integrates seamlessly into nearly any shop setup.
