The Alpha PVA Quick Change Snail Lock Adapter is a 4 in. 5/8 in.-11 adapter that converts a threaded grinder or polisher spindle to Alpha's Snail Lock quick-change connection. It lets Snail Lock tooling be swapped by hand, without a wrench.
It is an adapter, not a backer pad — it does not carry hook-and-loop discs. For hook-and-loop discs use an Alpha Flexible or Rigid Backer Pad in 3, 4 or 5 in.
